Brynderwen Surgery - Change to the Morning Appointment System

As you are aware we are changing our appointment system from Monday 18th January 2010, and the new system will be as follows:-

The usual pre-bookable appointments will be available in the afternoon. There is no change to this system.
Additional pre-bookable morning appointments will now be released regularly throughout the week. These can be booked in person or by telephone.
If you need to see a doctor urgently and cannot wait until the next available appointment, please come to the surgery between 8.30 am - 10.30 am. Please note this is for urgent cases only.

Patients can help us by :-

Checking if one of our Practice Nurses can see you instead of a doctor.
Not abusing the "Emergency Surgery" facility. Please note that Sickness Certificates will not be issued during these appointments or routine medication reviews carried out.
Making sure you attend for pre-booked appointments and letting us know if you are unable to keep an appointment.
Making sure you do not leave it until the last minute to obtain repeat medication.
Telephoning later in the day for non-urgent matters.
Not expecting your doctor to see other family members during your own single appointment.
